etc.x.infinity
Etc. × Infinity formed in San Diego, California, in the year 2000, while the band members were in 7th grade, under the name The Dekoys. Etc. × Infinity continued to evolve throughout the bands high school years, from an alternative/punk outfit to its present stage of development a medium capturing the dark, heavy, chaotic and absurd. In 2003 Etc. × Infinity recorded the 10 track, Festering and in 2004 the EP, Sadist Philanthropist (both previously released under the name, The Dekoys). Etc. × Infinity has shared various stages throughout Southern California with such bands as, Avenged Sevenfold, As I Lay Dying, Eighteen Visions, Ill Nino, The Casualties, The Virus and many more worthless acts. In the summer of 2005, the band was expected to break up as its members graduated high school and dispersed to pursue further work and education. However, despite time and distance, the band maintained its bond and since then recorded a new EP in December 2005, titled, "Enabling Constraints" (songs heard above) and recently updated its name from the feeble, The Dekoys to......Etc. × Infinity...... (how do you make an infinity sign on this piece of shit?) Currently the band is writing music, preparing to record their first official release in mid-June and planning their first tour in mid-July 2006. In hope of more thoroughly pursuing the passion that lies within Etc. × Infinity - the band is working on relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area. From now on until the earth deflates Etc. × Infinity will continue to produce devastating and challenging music for the minds and the hearts of those still living and listening.
